How we handle your product selection, WhatsApp enquiry draft and previous website enquiries.
Preparing an enquiry in your browser
The enquiry editor lets you optionally add details such as your name, company, country or target market, email, WhatsApp or telephone, cooperation model, sales channel, expected volume or timing, and other requirements. Your draft can include the numbers and names of products you select. These details are used in your browser to prepare a message that you can preview and edit. The new editor does not submit a website enquiry or create a new WordPress enquiry record.
Opening WhatsApp and copying
When you use a button that opens WhatsApp with a prefilled message, the message text is passed to WhatsApp in the link’s text parameter. Ordinary direct WhatsApp links do not include your enquiry draft. If the message is too long to fit in the link, copy the full message and paste it into WhatsApp. Opening an ordinary link still provides WhatsApp with normal connection and access data. Opening either type of link does not itself send a message: you must review and send it yourself in WhatsApp. Copying the message only places it on your clipboard and does not send it to Xianjing. Our business team uses information you actually send to discuss your product and cooperation needs.
Product selection and browser storage
The website keeps your product selection in your browser’s localStorage so you can continue selecting products between pages. You can clear the enquiry selection or remove this storage through your browser settings. The new editor does not save the optional information fields to localStorage or sessionStorage. The current draft includes the page language and a clean link to the webpage in that language, without tracking parameters. Previous website submissions may retain campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium or campaign to help us understand the source of those enquiries.
Previous website records and the retained backend
Enquiries previously submitted through the website remain in its WordPress database and can be viewed through an administrator-only screen. Changing to the WhatsApp editor does not delete these records. The retained legacy submission backend still uses temporary hashed email and IP values to limit duplicates and abuse; the legacy form does not add raw IP addresses to enquiry records. Acceptance of an email notification for sending does not guarantee delivery to an inbox.
Retention and requests
Enquiry information and business correspondence are retained as needed to handle business discussions, maintain relevant records and meet applicable obligations. You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your enquiry information. We may need to verify your identity and assess whether any records must be retained.
Service providers and third-party links
Website hosting and communication service providers may process information needed to operate their services, and normal technical server logs may be generated. WhatsApp, Facebook and email services have their own privacy policies. Opening their links or providing information to them is subject to their practices. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive information in an enquiry.
